Private Yoga Sessions

offer a more personalized approach than a typical group class. Instead of following a general sequence designed for a room full of people, each session is tailored specifically to your body, your goals, and what you’re experiencing physically or mentally.

People often reach out for private sessions when they’re dealing with things like:

• Chronic low back pain
• Tight hips and stiffness from long workdays
• Neck and shoulder tension
• Poor sleep or high stress
• Limited mobility or flexibility
• Feeling disconnected from their body

Many of my private clients come to me after trying stretching, physical therapy, or group classes and still feeling stuck. Private sessions allow us to slow down and work directly with the patterns creating discomfort.

In a private session, I guide you through thoughtfully curated movement, breathwork, and energy regulating techniques that help to release tension, improve mobility, and support every system in your body.

Because the session is designed around you, we can move at the right pace, adjust things as needed, and focus on what will actually make the biggest difference in how you feel.

This is For You If

• Your body has been through something (injury, illness, surgery, chronic pain) and you need guidance that accounts for that.

• You're navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, or emotional heaviness and want a practice that helps you regulate, not just stretch.

• You've always wanted to try yoga but felt intimidated by group classes.

• You're an experienced practitioner who wants to go deeper, refine your alignment, or work with breathwork and meditation more intentionally.

• You're aging consciously and want to move with more ease, maintain your range of motion, and feel strong in your body for years to come.

• You want to feel more present for your family, your work, or your life, and you know your nervous system needs some tending.

• You have a specific goal: better balance, more flexibility, increased strength, improved posture, or simply feeling good in your body again.

• You've tried other approaches and something is still missing.

Each Session

is shaped by what serves you most. Depending on your goals and what comes up, we will work with:

  • Āsana — Mindful movement and postures that build strength, improve mobility, and create spaciousness in the body. This is what most people picture when they think of yoga, but it is only one piece.

  • Prānāyāma — Breathwork techniques that shift your nervous system state, regulate your energy, and improve mental clarity. Your breath is one of the most powerful tools you have, and most people have never been taught to use it intentionally.

  • Pratyāhāra — The practice of turning your attention inward, away from external noise and distraction. This is where the deeper work begins: learning to hear what's actually happening inside you rather than reacting to everything outside of you.

  • Dhāranā — Focused concentration practices that train the mind to settle. If you struggle with racing thoughts, difficulty staying present, or a mind that won't quiet down, this is often where we spend meaningful time.

  • Dhyāna — Meditation and sustained stillness. Not forcing the mind to go blank, but learning to be with yourself without immediately trying to fix or escape what's there.

  • Yamas & Niyamas — The ethical and philosophical roots of yoga that greatly affect how you relate to yourself and the world around you. These principles often surface naturally in session and offer a framework for understanding why certain patterns keep showing up in your body and your life.

  • Body Awareness & Energy Regulation — Tuning into what your body is actually communicating and learning to work with it rather than against it, so the practice becomes something you carry into everyday life, not something you leave on the mat.

No session looks exactly like another (and that's the point).

How These Sessions Work

In Person — I offer private sessions in the Los Angeles area. Sessions are held in your home, your preferred space, or a mutually agreed upon location. All you need is enough floor space to stretch out, and a yoga mat if you have one. If you don't, we'll figure it out.

Online — Online sessions are seamless, intimate, and just as effective as in-person. I've been teaching virtually since 2020 and have worked with clients across different time zones, at-home offices, backyards, and hotel rooms. All you need is a device, a stable internet connection, and a small open space. That's it. No special equipment required.

All sessions are 60 minutes.

A Little About Liz

Since 2012, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of students, all with unique bodies, backgrounds, and life circumstances. Throughout the years, my experiences have shown me, over and over again, how efficiently this one system helps relieve the mental, physical, and emotional stresses of all human life, no matter the state of our imbalances, injuries, or conditions.

My approach is rooted in over two decades of study in yoga philosophy, breathwork, posture sequencing, alignment, and energetic anatomy. I don't teach a one-size-fits-all class. I prioritize listening to what your body and nervous system are communicating, moving mindfully through the practices would serve you best, and then creating a balanced, well-rounded class experience, catered specifically to you.

What I care most about is that you leave each session feeling more at home in your body than when you arrived. More spacious and less stiff or stagnant. Like something that was tight, stuck, or heavy got a little more room to breathe. That's what a good private session does, and it's what keeps people coming back.

Reviews About Liz's Classes

  • Sophie N. — "I have traveled the world to search for a trauma informed yoga teacher with her skills and have yet to find anyone like her."

  • Andrea T. — "I’d been in a traumatic motor vehicle accident back in 2013, and I didn’t feel comfortable joining a class due to how my injuries affected my stability, so I reached out to Liz... and over time she helped me to regain flexibility, strengthening, and stability. We even focused on breath work which helped with my anxiety while driving again."

  • Sarah C. — "Liz taught me a private class at home when I was going through a really rough transition and also not really practicing very much, and it was such a breath of fresh air. I love how she intuitively shifted the practice for who she was teaching and tapped into what I needed in the moment."

  • Shannon M. — "One of Liz's gifts is being able to hold space for students so they can truly show up and be open and vulnerable."

Let's Find the Right Fit

Private sessions are available as single bookings or in packages of 5 and 10 — with rates that reflect your chosen format and commitment level. Online and in-person sessions are priced accordingly.

Before we dive in, I like to connect briefly by phone first. It gives us both a chance to make sure we're a good fit, talk through what you're looking for, to see how I can help.
